Before co-founding Robertson, Medlin & Bloss, PLLC, Steve Robertson worked 25 years in a variety of positions. He owned 2 small manufacturing businesses, negotiated  trade tariffs in Latin America, testified before a Congressional sub committee, and represented the Gasoline Pump Manufacturers Association on a wide variety of regulatory affairs issues.

In 2001, Robertson put down roots in the Greensboro legal community. Since then he has practiced in the North Carolina Superior Courts, North Carolina Court of Appeals, United States District Court, United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit and the North Carolina Supreme Court.
